Police ask people to remain vigilant after woman had bag of leaves stolen

Humberside police are asking for people remain vigilant after a woman had a bag stolen as she walked to her art class.

Shortly before 10am on Monday February 17 a woman was walking in Brigg, North Lincolnshire when she appeared to have been pushed from behind, causing her to lose her balance.

When the woman arrived at her art class she realised that her bag had been stolen. However, this was unlucky for the thief as it contained a selection of leaves required for the class. There was nothing of any value in the bag.

Although nothing of value was stolen, police would like people to remain vigilant as the intention to steal was there and this caused the woman to be quite shaken following the incident. She was not injured.
