A Bharatiya Janata Party politician in Gujarat who walked over the backs and stomachs of children has caused upset in India.
Mohan Kundariya, a member of the Gujarat legislative assembly representing Tankara in Rajkot, balanced on the backs of around a dozen students who were on all fours, before crossing the chest of another balanced on top of them.
Footage of incident.
The incident reportedly took place at a yoga camp at the Swaminarayan temple in Rajkot. Mr Kundariya, who was seen laughing as he walked gingerly on the backs of children, says he was only obliging the students, who wanted to show off their strength.
"I am not an insensitive person and would never hurt anyone physically. The students insisted that they wanted to display their physical and mental strength through yoga. As part of this I was asked to walk over a group," said a defensive Mr Kundariya.
