A woman who took a packet of Scotch eggs from a supermarket in Minehead, Somerset has apologised and paid up.
Police say the culprit picked up items from the Co-op store, ate the eggs and dumped the packet without paying on January 25.
Avon and Somerset Police had appealed for information.
Officers say they are no longer seeking information about the theft and have said the matter had been dealt with by way of a ‘community resolution.’
A community resolution resolves a minor offence or anti-social behaviour incident through informal agreement between the parties involved, according to the Ministry of Justice.
