Dog walker hit woman with bag of poo

A man walking his dog in a park hit a fellow dog walker with a bag of poo. The female victim was walking her border collie in the park in Melton, Leicestershire, when she was approached by the man and his dog.

The man's dog then attacked the victim's collie. When the woman asked the man to restrain his dog, he became abusive and physically assaulted the woman, kicking her and hitting her with a bag of dog faeces. The man then walked off.



Police community support officer Oliver Wood said: “This was a particularly nasty attack which has left the victim very shaken. We would like to speak to anyone who was in the park at the time who might have seen anything or to anyone who may be able to identify the suspect.”

The attacker is white, between 20 and 25, skinny and around 5’9’’. He had fair hair and was wearing a dark-coloured top, jeans and white trainers. The dog he was with was a brindle-coloured Staffordshire bull terrier. Anyone with information should call the police.
