Fawns typically 'play dead' during their first few days, as a survival mechanism (they're usually birthed into long grass). I've checked, and there are other videos of it on YouTube. I'd be more worried about inadvertent domestication than ill-health.
The fawn's behavior is normal; this link has a great explanation of what Tapejara said. http://wildlifecenter.org/sites/default/files/PDFs/prevention/Don't%20be%20a%20Fawn-napper.pdf

I don't know about the habits of deer. Is this normal behavior for a deer, or is something wrong with it?
I wasn't altogether sure if the deer was okay or not.
I hope it is.

Thank you for that Tapejara!

Fine, I'll just lay down here next to you.
Not sure this guys okay. Should I slap him? I think I should.
I'd like to know how the fawn got there in the first place.
