Peculiar toilet exhibition opens at Tokyo's science museum

Curators at Tokyo's Science museum have unveiled their latest exhibition, which is all about toilets.

Staff are hoping that the attraction will give people a new perspective on toilets.

"Toilets and faeces are normally thought of as very unclean topics, but I would like for people to actively talk about them instead of just thinking that they're dirty," said Tami Sakamaki, a staff member at the museum's Exhibition Development Division.

The exhibit features a 5-metre tall toilet that visitors can slide into while wearing faeces-shaped hats. The exhibit is open now and runs until October 5.
