Secret chocolate stash found in university library book

A surprise hidden within the pages of a library book was waiting for Cambridge students during the exam period. During a stock check of the Newnham College Library, a student discovered a secret stash of chocolate concealed within the pages of The Oxford Companion to English Literature by Margaret Drabble, herself a Newnham alumna.

The mysterious treat-giver had hollowed out the pages of the book and stowed a Crunchie and a Dairy Milk bar within. Scrawled inside the pages is a message encouraging the lucky finder to enjoy the contents. The note reads: “Dear student, congratulations on finding this book. Take your prize and return with one for the next person.” The tome is not a Newnham College library book, and it believed to have been spirited in for the express purpose of concealing the chocolate bars.

Jo Tynan, a spokeswoman for Newnham College, said: “We do regular stock checks at the library and a student stock taker came across this book last week. It didn’t have any issue numbers on it so she opened it and the inside had been completely hollowed out.” It is not clear whether these two bars are the original chocolates or whether they have been replaced many times over the exam period.

Ms Tynan added: “We don’t know how long the book was there for but we don’t think it was very long. A lot of our students got firsts this year so who knows whether they were helped with their studies by these chocolates.” The college does not allow food or drink in the library but occasionally leaves sweets out during the exam period when the library closes at 1.45am. No one has come forward to claim responsibility for the idea, but the college would love to know who was behind it.

You have to read books if you want to know more about writing academic papers. Or you can always hire someone to write a paper like I do

University libraries are the benefit we deserve from the university. There you can find not only such articles as https://www.iiste.org/tag/domyessay/ but also many other rare books.

Ha ha. This is very funny. But i am more interested in having books with such useful information as in this excellent article about essay writing service - than having chocolate.

Ahahah, funny, funny. But the truth is that it is much more important to have articles like article with tips to writing a unique essay fast and not chocolate in the library. I can buy chocolate in the store, but knowledge is not so easy to get.
