I had a Savannah monitor for about 3 years until it occurred to me the ridiculousness of having a pet I couldn't teach not to eat the other pets. That was just going to end in tears. I gave it to a man on a Harley and he put it in one of his saddlebags and rode off.
Thanks for the info, Arbroath & Anon. I looked up some other pics of Savannah monitors and none seemed to have the wonderful patterning like on this one's back.
