Alleged burglar easily found as he was wearing company-issued shirt including phone number
Police didn't have a hard time tracking down a man who allegedly burgled two cars at a home in Delray Beach, Florida, as he had his employer's phone number printed right on his shirt.
Delray Beach police said they got a call from a woman who said that just after 8am on Monday, she caught a man on her security camera stealing two pairs of expensive sunglasses and a $100 Louis Vuitton coin purse from her cars, the police report stated.
Police looked at the video and saw a man wearing a shirt that said "I Got Wood LLC." The shirt also listed a phone number. When officers called that number, they reached the owner of I Got Wood, a flooring company. The owner told police that the man in the video was his employee Perry Martin, 55, of Coconut Creek.
According to the report, Martin walked away from a job site shortly before the time of the burglary. When police contacted Martin they asked him whether he was the man in the security video and he said he was. Martin has been charged with burglary, grand theft and violation of probation. He was held at the Palm Beach County Jail in lieu of $3,000 bail.

Man wearing cowboy hat, boots and a dress drove car around soybean field for 40 minutes
The Saline County Sheriff's Office was involved in a bizarre, 43-minute chase on Saturday morning.
It began when a deputy clocked a passing car on Interstate 70, travelling at over 90 mph. The deputy began pursuit of the driver as he travelled towards Salina. The car was spraypainted with derogatory statements about law enforcement.
The suspect was able to drive around spikes that were set up. Eventually, the suspect drove into a soybean field. Sheriff Glen Kochanowski says the suspect then drove the car in circles for 40 minutes while law enforcement set up a perimeter around the field, blocking off the man's exits. at times, the suspect threw blankets, CDs and other items out of the car.
At one point, the vehicle slowed down to around 5 miles per hour and the suspect climbed out and "surfed" on the car's roof. The Sheriff says the man was yelling bible verses at officers, making faces and even flashed peace signs. Deputies pepper sprayed the driver several times while he was inside the car.
The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Aaron S. Jansen of Dover, New Hampshire, eventually surrendered to deputies. He's being held on charges of fleeing and eluding, obstruction, reckless driving and speeding. At the time of his arrest, Jansen was wearing a cowboy hat, boots and a woman's dress. He also has a warrant out of Dickinson County, where he is accused of spray painting "Help me" on the tailgate of a pickup and leaving behind his billfold, which included his identification.

Police called after 'freaked out' cat trapped couple in their bedroom
A Florida woman called police this weekend to report she and her husband were trapped in their bedroom after their cat "freaked out" and attacked them repeatedly.
The cat "ripped us up," Teresa Gregory reported, adding: "We just need her out of our house. We don't know what to do." According to an incident report, officers were dispatched to Gregory's home in DeLand at about 7:15pm on Saturday. "She's never been like this, I don't know what's happened to her.

"It's like she freaked out on us today," Gregory said in a call to police, adding she thought she might have stepped on the cat in the dark, upsetting it. The cat was not up-to-date on its shots, Gregory reported. She expressed concern her pet might attack responding officers. "They might have to shoot her, I don't know," she said.
That didn't turn out to be necessary; DeLand Animal Control officers eventually arrived and took the cat, a 4-year-old Russian Blue named Kush, which will be in quarantine for at least 10 days. Gregory and her husband, James Gregory, suffered scratches to their legs and hands, which were photographed by police, but declined to be taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Boy vomited mysterious objects including Zimbabwean dollars
A 14-year-old boy is alleged to have vomited mysterious objects including bearer cheques (Zimbabwe's old currency which was officially discarded in February 2009). Some claim that witchcraft and Satanism are at work after the minor's disappearance and mysterious return a week ago. There are claims that more children in the area were being targeted. Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Tadius Chibanda confirmed the case saying that investigations were in progress. "We received information about that case where a 14-year-old boy is said to have started behaving strangely before vomiting a bearer cheque that was written names among other objects. The father is the one who saw the child vomiting and inquiries are being done," he said.
A crowd quickly gathered to catch a glimpse of the mysterious objects and the boy had to be taken to a pastor's house where he received prayers. "Come and see what this child has done. God help me, Satanists want to kill my son," cried the boy's mother who was being consoled by her relatives. The mother who has still to come to terms with the whole incident said she believed her son was being used by satanic agents, fingering one of her fellow residents in the acts. "Strange things started happening after our neighbour sent my child to steal his brother's money. The child later confessed that the woman who lives next door had instructed him to steal money from her brother before she went on to threaten him with death for exposing her.

"Two days after the resident threatened him, he was kidnapped on his way to school and was released five hours later. We reported the matter to the police and also noted the resident's threats," she narrated. The woman added that they started seeing strange things at their house which she believes were acts of witchcraft. "We then started seeing ritual herbs tied with a red cloth that had a needle on it. We saw my child's name written on the juju as well as names of other children who he plays with," said the mother. She said things got worse when they burnt the juju. That is when the boy started vomiting mysterious objects.
"We consulted our pastor who prayed with us before burning the objects last night. My child then started vomiting strange things which I have never seen in my whole life. Every time he was vomiting he told us that he was spiritually seeing our fellow resident shouting at him for exposing her. We prayed last night until the child slept and when he woke up he requested that I boil him an egg as he was hungry. Before he could start eating the egg, he started vomiting again and we rushed him to the pastor's place," she said. The boy reiterated that he was in trouble with Satanic agents who wanted his blood. "I have never been so afraid and I don't know how this is going to end. I can't eat anything and I just feel like vomiting all the time and whenever I vomit I see the woman," said the boy. The boy's father, warned all parents in the area to pray hard hinting that the devil was at work and more was yet to come.

Half-eaten wrapped sausage found inside fish
When fisherman Liam Mårskon reeled in an eight-kilo pike, he discovered that it had a half-eaten sausage complete with packaging in its belly.
The 20-year-old from northern Sweden was out fishing in Härjedalsfjällen with his friends over the weekend when he made the unlikely discovery. "We saw this really big pike but for some reason it just didn't want to bite onto the hook.
"Normally pikes are quiet aggressive but this one was acting strange," Mårskon said. After a few hours the young fishing enthusiasts spotted the pike again and decided to make a move. But they noticed something unusual when reeling in their catch of the day. "The shape of the fish was strange. It looked a bit like a cylinder and one of my friends said for a laugh, 'there's a sausage in there,' but it turned out it was right," laughed Mårskon.
The fishing friends said the pike was behaving weirdly and appeared to be in pain, so they killed it and cut the fish open where the sausage was discovered. "I just couldn't believe my eyes. Inside the pike was a half-eaten sausage still in the plastic wrapper. Somebody must have thrown it away and the fish must have been very hungry."

"The expiry date was for December 1st this year so it can't have been inside the fish for very long," he said. The sausage appeared to be a falukorv, long a staple part of every Swedish child's diet, normally served with rice and creamy red sauce. "We didn't eat it," Mårskon said. "It smelled a bit bad as it had been inside a fish's stomach so we threw it away. I've been fishing there all my life and my family has been going there since 1986 and never seen anything like it," he added.
