An eagle swooped on to a football pitch in North Vancouver, Canada, last week, before demonstrating its ball skills.
Mountain United were holding a training session at Sutherland Secondary School when the eagle landed.
After a bit of a kickabout the bird flew away.

I guess it was hoping it was a giant unguarded egg. Sadly proving to be a bit leathery and hard to open.
I showed it to my father who being a bird-nerd commented "Oh nice, a young bald eagle".. the number of months I spent as a kid in the back of the car at the side of the road whilst he photographed some random bird.
Heh!
I think you're right about the eagle thinking it was an egg.
It hadn't crossed my mind.
Apologies for not replying yesterday, but I've been a bit stressed with one thing and another recently.
It'd have been most disappointed had it managed to open its egg.
I certainly don't expect responses to my musings.
Hope the stress deflates soon. I had a job that was ruining my mental and physical health and the best part of it.. was being made redundant.
Strangely enough, last month, 5 years later, I got a call from a recruitment weasel asking me to go back. Turns out they'd fired every last one of the people who did what I did and suddenly realised they needed geeks. Two words.. the second one is off.
I can only hope a young bald eagle mistakes their heads for unguarded eggs and kicks them about belfast.
Heh heh!
