Aggressive street preacher defeated by bagpiper

A preacher who took to the street in St Andrews, Scotland, to shout what has been described as an “aggressive message” was defeated by a man playing bagpipes.




Locals said his message was almost impossible to understand, but seemed to be aggressive and was ruining the atmosphere on a lovely sunny day in the town.



The man was using a small amplifier to shout out his message beside the fountain in Market Street.

Lachie Blair captured the moment the preacher was finally silenced, drowned out by a rendition of Scotland the Brave. As Lachie put it, the piper won in “the most Scottish way possible.”
