Ducklings reunited with their mother following police appeal

A mother duck has been reunited with her ducklings by police in Australia after they asked for public assistance to help quack the case.

"Mother Duck said, “quack, quack, quack, quack,” and all her nine little ducks came back. Wonderful news!

"The ducklings have been reunited with their three siblings and parents at Ornamental Lake in Melbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens. Good job Ranger John and thanks to our bike riding hero," Victoria Police posted on Facebook.

Earlier on Monday, a cyclist found the ducklings wandering by a busy road in Melbourne and took them to the police station in his back pack. Police kept the ducklings warm in a cardboard box and snapped some photos giving their new fluffy friends a cuddle.
