Police officers stopped traffic to help family of ducks cross road

Police officers in New Zealand stopped traffic to help a family of ducks cross the road safely.

The officers from Canterbury Police stepped in when they saw the ducks attempt to cross the busy road in Christchurch on their own.

The experience was captured on video and shared on Facebook.

“Thank you to everyone who stopped while this family of ducklings flagged down a Police escort across a busy Christchurch intersection,” Canterbury Police wrote. “They went on to explore a newly formed water feature!”

…and yet they still eat meat.
Out of sight, out of any need for thinking about whether those animals want to give up their lives for a human's meal.

Geez, for a second, I thought you were saying ducks were carnivorous -- that was upsetting.
