Angry man called 999 after takeaway told him he couldn't have ham and mushroom pizza

A man called 999 threatening to ‘smash up’ a Manchester city centre takeaway after being told he couldn’t have a slice of ham and mushroom pizza.

The angry customer told police he had been into the same eatery the night before and had a ham and mushroom pizza.

But after returning the next evening he was told by staff that they didn’t stock any pork products.

After then finding out that he had actually been served turkey and mushroom on his first visit, he demanded a refund for his original £3.50 pizza. Officers paid the man a visit and after giving him some advice he departed into the night.

Remember the horse meat scandal? It's illegal to sell one meat as another. As such the pizza joint should be prosecuted, regardless of the customer's behaviour.

Gareth, I don't think it was misrepresented; I think the man simplu assumed it was ham.
