Koala in pool became grumpy with its rescuers

A family living in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia recently rescued a koala from the bottom of their swimming pool.

The family didn't seem too concerned that the koala may not have wanted to be touched, but armed with a towel and gardening gloves they gave the rescue a go.

As soon as the the koala was lifted out of the pool it started making pronounced grunting noises, not sounding too happy with the situation.

A young girl then placed a towel on top of the koala to dry it off. The koala then continued to hiss and spit at its rescuers until it was led to the safety of a nearby tree.

Those were some very uncute noises for such a cute little critter.
