Man accused of shooting neighbour's toilet

A man from Lebanon, New Hampshire, was arrested on Thursday after police say he shot his neighbour's toilet

Andrew Griffon, 48, was charged with reckless conduct and criminal mischief for allegedly firing a gun inside his apartment, breaking a toilet in the next-door apartment. Police went to the apartment building Griffon lives in at around 6:30pm for a report of shots fired.

Officers said they found Griffon with a firearm and determined he had shot the weapon. Police learned there was a water break in the building. Police said the shots that had been fired from Griffon’s apartment hit and broke a toilet in an adjoining apartment, causing the leak.

“No one was home in the adjoining apartment and no one was injured,” police said. Griffon was arrested on two counts of felony reckless conduct, as well as criminal mischief. He is being held in the Grafton County House of Corrections on $25,000 cash bail pending his arraignment in court.

"And why did you shoot his toilet?"

"Well, I wasn't going to put up with his crap any longer ..."

Yeah, it's a weak and obvious joke, but not every oeuvre of mine is Pulitzer material, y'know. Suffer.
