Firefighters rescued raccoon stuck in storm drain

A raccoon in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, was having a rough Christmas until a group of local firefighters helped it out.



Joint Base Cape Cod Firefighters rushed to rescue the raccoon that became stuck in a storm drain.

A person walking their dog in the area on Christmas Day found him and alerted firefighters.



The department responded and freed the animal, which was uninjured. “It was a good day for the raccoon,” a firefighter said.
