Firefighters used drill to save trapped dog from concrete drain

A curious canine found itself stuck in a concrete drain in China with no hope of getting out.





But members of the public and firefighters came to the rescue of the dazed dog, with hours of hard work.





A rescuer drilled into the concrete, receiving direction from others who were watching on.

A cloth was placed over the animal's eyes to protect it from stone fragments and keep it calm. Eventually the happy dog was able to inch its way to freedom.
