Man rescued from 60 metres inside storm water drain

Rescuers have pulled a man 60 metres from inside a storm water drain in the north-east of Adelaide, Australia.

The Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) said the man was caught by his shoulders inside the roadside drain at Valley View.



It took just over an hour to pull the man out. The MFS did not know the circumstances behind how the man ended up inside the drain.

SA Ambulance Service said the man was in his 20s and was taken to the Lyell McEwin Hospital with minor injuries.
