Police were called to Grendon, a village to the north of the A5 near Atherstone, on Wednesday afternoon after the man was seen.
The man, who ran away after being disturbed, had left his clothes next to a nearby pond before heading to a muddy spot of land.
He is described as around 30-years-old, 5ft 10in tall with dark curly hair and was last seen running away. West Midlands Ambulance Service were also informed in case the man was found.
