Australian policeman expresses delight at seeing river flow for the first time in his life

Just before Christmas, this police officer in Australia, who works at a one-man station in the remote north west Queensland town of Mckinlay, (population 20), had the privilege of witnessing a river flow for the first time in his life after many years of severe drought.

Yes, indeed. We Californians understand this well. We just had a couple of days of El NiƱo storms--first real rain in ages.
