Cat floating in litter tray rescued from flooded home

The Humane Society of Missouri rescued a cat from a flooded home in Fenton, Missouri, on Thursday.



She survived the devastating floodwaters by floating in her litter tray.





Investigators Brian Thomas and Patience Scanlon rescued four cats by boat that afternoon.

The Humane Society of Missouri is providing emergency shelter for nearly 60 animals whose families were displaced by the flooding.
