Police in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, were called to an incident involving mashed potatoes earlier this month.
Manheim Township police said officers responded to Lititz Pike Eye Associates.
A man had deposited the food onto a woman's desk.
Police said Corrie D. Collins, 22, of Rising Sun, Maryland, continuously called the woman at work throughout the day on Jan. 15 after being told to stop.
"He then entered her place of employment causing a disturbance by walking over to the victim's desk and emptying a container of mashed potatoes onto her desk," police noted in their incident report.
The man had left the scene before police arrived, but officers said they filed two counts of harassment and one count of disorderly conduct against Collins.
Police did not elaborate on the nature of the pair's relationship or the nature of Collins' continued calls to the woman.
