Police officers rescued raccoon with tin can stuck on its head

Two police officers from Manatee County Sheriff’s Office rescued a raccoon with an appetite for ravioli.

Deputy Patrick Hagan and Deputy Brandon Rowe were on patrol at about 2.00am on Monday in the Manatee Oaks neighbourhood of Bradenton, Florida.

They saw a raccoon struggling with an open can of Chef Boyardee stuck on its head.

Hagan and Rowe approached the raccoon and helped it get the can off of its head, and the raccoon ran away after it was removed. The animal was not injured.
