Scottish man man facing jail in Krygyzstan for sausage horse penis joke

A Perthshire man could face five years behind bars on foreign soil after making a joke about a country’s national dish. 39-year-old Michael McFeat, of Abernethy, compared Krygyzstan’s sausage horse meat dish the chuchuk to a horse’s penis.

The gold mine worker stated: “The Kyrgyz people queuing out the door for their special delicacy the horse penis!!!” He made the reference in a canteen during a Hogmanay meal at the Kumtor Mine which is located in the mountains Issyk Kul Province but his colleagues took offence and it’s believed some even staged a strike over the comment.

He has since posted on Facebook: “I would like to take the opportunity to sincerely apologise for the comment I made on here about the kygyz people and horses penis. I truly never meant to offened anyone and im truly sorry as it was never my intension. “I would also like to say the people in the picture had absolutely nothing to do with it. again im very very sorry.”

His wife, Amanda, 40, said: “It’s absolutely disgusting that his comment has been blown out of proportion. Everyone in the wider family is gutted and devastated by this. I got a text from him telling me he was getting chucked out of the country so I thought he was coming home, but they arrested him.” It is understood the family is contacting the British Embassy for up-to-date information on Mr McFeat’s situation.

Moral of the story: stay out of Third World crap holes passing themselves off as countries. I must admit to visiting several such places when I was a young man, but I was carrying an assault rifle and grenades. The natives become much more reasonable and civilized after you call an artillery mission on their huts.
