Woman rescued with shirt rope after falling down well while posing for a selfie

An Austrian tourist slipped and fell into a well while attempting to take a selfie in the Indian city of Junagadh.





Friedel (no last name given) was visiting a fort in Junagadh, when the incident happened on Monday.





On hearing her screams, local residents rushed to help her and pulled her out using a rope which they made by tying their shirts together.

She sustained minor injuries in the incident. When asked if she wanted anything, she apparently replied: "Water."
