Teenager rescued by firefighters after getting hand stuck in letter box

Firefighters were called to rescue a teenager trapped in a letterbox in the early hours of Saturday morning.



One appliance from Roath attended a property in Pontprennau, east of Cardiff, Wales.

Crews spent around 15 minutes trying to free the 18-year-old after his hand became stuck.



A spokeswoman for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “We received a call for the removal of an object at around 1.18am. No special equipment was used.”
