A baby elephant was rescued from an uncovered drain in Sri Lanka on Sunday.
The calf appeared to have fallen into the drain in the southern port city of Hambantotoa.
Port workers teamed up with wildlife officials to break open more of the drain, and reach inside to rescue the animal.

The elephant was put onto a vehicle and taken away for medical treatment, believed to be a suspected broken leg.
