£200,000 Rolls Royce seized by police on account of the driver having no insurance

A luxury car worth £200,000 was seized by officers patrolling in an unmarked police car.

The distinctive gold and black Rolls-Royce Ghost was spotted driving erratically on the A666 in central Bolton, Greater Manchester, just after midnight on Sunday.

PC Matthew Picton, of GMP's Road Policing Unit, said: "It was stopped after being seen tailgating and generally driving aggressively and flashing other vehicles to move out of the way.

"They didn’t notice the unmarked police vehicle behind them. When stopped, there was no insurance for the driver." The 6.6L saloon was confiscated at the roadside.

For a vehicle that cost that much, you'd think that it would be amazingly gorgeous. Not so with this one. That is truly an ugly car.
