Mouse-chasing dog rescued after getting head stuck in undercarriage of truck

Firefighters in Florida rescued a dog on Wednesday after the canine’s head got stuck in the undercarriage of a truck.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department crews were called to the scene to free the dog. The dog’s jaw became lodged between two pieces of metal, preventing the animal from closing its mouth.

“The owner of the dog said that her pooch was chasing a mouse and the chase ended up underneath the vehicle,” officials said. Rescuers managed to manoeuvre the dog’s head until it became dislodged.

“The mouse became a spectator to the rescue operation as the exhausted dog had no other choice but to let MDFR crews take him out of this tight spot,” officials said.
