Deer crashed through window before running through busy café

An unexpected deer caused quite a commotion as customers were eating breakfast.



A deer crashed through a window at Aspen Café in St. John, north west Indiana, at around 7am on Monday.





Surveillance video shows the frantic animal narrowly missing customers and running into the hostess stand before making its escape through another window on the other side of the dining room.

At one point, a female diner come face-to-face with the wild animal. It is unclear who was the more terrified as they both leapt in opposite directions. No one was injured.
