Little boy riding toy car along road rescued from rush-hour traffic

A young boy has been rescued from a busy road in China, after riding his toy car head-on into traffic.

CCTV footage captured the moment a policeman pulled the boy out of the road during rush-hour. The child, aged around three, calmly scooted towards oncoming vehicles as they had to swerve around him in Lishui City.

Police officer Wu Feng was riding his motorcycle to work when he spotted the little boy and rushed to his aid. He said: "When I rode out of the gate, I saw a little kid on the road riding in his toy car through the traffic.

"It was very dangerous with many big vehicles around him. So without a second thought I rushed to the kid immediately and took him to the side of the road." The youngster was unharmed and was later reunited with his mother.

Okay, I don't want to get on my soapbox here, but where the hell was the mother? I nearly ran down a kid myself when he was out riding his push bike out into the road. Thank goodness I saw him prior to him getting into the road. This just irritates the hell out of me because if somebody hit him, they would relive that moment for the rest of their lives.
