Conkers confiscated by police

A policewoman swooped on four children knocking conkers out of a tree — and confiscated their haul.



The WPC then issued the youngsters — one of them aged just seven with forms informing them they had been stopped and searched.

The kids’ mums were stunned when the four returned clutching the documents.

Sussex Police confirmed: “We confiscated a large bag of conkers."
