Alleged sock thief in Idaho Falls

There was another break-in over the weekend, but this time it was truly nothing short of bizarre.

Early on Sunday morning, the Idaho Falls Police Department said a large man allegedly attempted to steal a sock off a woman's foot while she was asleep.

She woke up to find the man standing over her bed wearing a ski mask, tugging on her sock. She chased him out of her house and into a back alley. Police said she left a back door unlocked.

The woman thinks it could have been a former roommate. The police have no suspects at this time.
