Dalmation trapped under bus is saved by fire brigade

The spotty dog was being walked by its owner in Fairfax Road, Swiss Cottage, when it spotted a canine friend across the street: and he bounded off to share a wag and a sniff.

But to the horror of its owner, the dog decided the quickest route was to bound underneath a number 31 bus that was heading past. People on board said they heard a large thud and it was obvious they had driven over something – to their horror, when the driver stopped, the passengers saw it was the eager dog, who had become wedged beneath the double decker.

The frantic owner was unable to drag his pooch free – and so called the fire brigade. They came and after some wriggling and the use of a special harness, managed to drag the poor Dalmation free – amazingly unharmed.
