A 29-year-old woman from Bay City, Michigan, is facing three criminal charges following an alleged dispute with her roommate.
Tiffany B. White-Wine has been arraigned on two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, a four-year felony, and one count of domestic violence, second offence, a misdemeanor.
White-Wine is charged followed an incident that allegedly took place on Aug. 25.
At 4:36am that day, Bay County Central Dispatch received a call from a woman saying her roommate, White-Wine, had attacked her with a grilling fork and then a knife.
During the course of their investigation, White-Wine told police she used the grilling fork to injure her own right leg and stomach.
An ambulance took her to hospital for treatment of her wounds.
At 5:23am, White-Wine submitted to a Breathalyzer test, which indicated her blood alcohol level was 0.22. In Michigan, a person is legally intoxicated when their blood alcohol level is at 0.08.
The 32-year-old complainant told police she and White-Wine had been drinking.
At one point a fight broke out with the two women first exchanging punches.
White-Wine then retrieved a grilling fork from a butcher block and came at her roommate. She then grabbed a knife and charged at her again, the woman told police.
The caller told police she didn't want to press charges and only wanted White-Wine to get some help.
After White-Wine was treated at the hospital, police arrested her and took her to the Bay County Jail.
