Man accused of having sex with woman on ferris wheel was due to marry another lady that day

A man who was arrested after he and another woman allegedly had sex on a ferris wheel above the Las Vegas strip said that he was set to have married another woman that day. Philip Panzica went to Las Vegas with fiancĂ©e Mistie Bozant to tie the knot last Friday. The couple met two months before. But things didn’t go as planned when Panzica, believing Bozant was pregnant with another man’s child, ended up gambling and drinking “four or five” margaritas instead.

That’s when he met Chloe Scordianos, the woman he was later arrested with on the High Roller. “One thing led to another. She was there by herself,” Panzica said in an interview, with Bozant by his side. Soon after meeting the 21-year-old Scordianos, the pair headed to the Ferris wheel where they were later accused of publicly engaging in sex acts. “It wasn’t planned, it was just, I felt it,” Panzica said. “We get up to the highest point, and we were like, ‘We’re golden!’”

A security officer first noticed the pair smoking and undressing, according to police documents. She used the intercom to ask the couple to stop, but, after a pause, they were back at it. Guests in another cabin noticed Scordiano and Panzica and began filming the acts, the security officer said, according to the document. “I clearly saw Scordianos laying on her back in the centre of the cabin. Panzica was on his knees over Scordianos and removed her dress,” the document read.

Panzica explained he did not know people could see in, and thought the message from the security officer was a recording that was being played over and over again. Nearly 30 minutes later, when the ride ended, Panzica and Scordianos were arrested. “I was drunk as f*ck. I was running around naked … acting like a little kid again,” he said. Two nights later, Bozant came to her fiance’s rescue, paying $3,000 to bail him out of jail. “Doesn’t that show what a good heart I have?” she said in the interview. “I really do appreciate it, and I feel bad about everything,” Panzica concluded.

She bailed him out? They deserve each other. Good luck with all that.
