Woman Drives With Body On Roof After Accident

Delaware State Police said an erratic driver struck and killed a pedestrian in Bear early Friday morning. Officials said the woman drove for miles, seemingly unaware the victim’s body was dangling from the roof.

Police said a concerned citizen spotted the driver, 25-year-old Tanya Kunig of Smyrna, driving suspiciously and called 911.

Investigators believe Kunig was under the influence when she struck 44-year-old Teresa Voiers of New Castle.

Authorities said Kunig drove for over two miles with Voiers’ body on the roof of her car before being pulled over by State Troopers.
