Boy aged 2 prescribed Viagra

Two-year-old Ben Hayes is the youngest person in Britain to take sex drug Viagra.

He was given one blue pill a day to relieve pressure on his heart which had a defect.

Mum Christine, 29, said: “When I picked up the prescription at the chemist, people assumed it was for my husband Roy.”

Ben — who was born with a hole in his heart — was put on the drug at age ten months.

His mum had to crush up the tablets and mix them with his baby food.

He has now had surgery at London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital which means he can stop taking the pills.
