Man makes cathedral from fruitcake

George D’Aubney reveals his masterpiece — a fruitcake replica of St Paul’s Cathedral.

The ex-mechanic, 71, spent three years creating the 4ft tall model.

George, of Willesden, North West London, then fitted music, lighting and mechanics.

He said: “No one will be eating it — I’m hoping to donate the cake to a museum.”
