Garden for sale with no house

A property is for sale in an exclusive Devon yachting resort for an unusually low price, with the small catch that it is a garden without a house attached.

The eighth of an acre plot in Salcombe has an asking price of £85,000.

Moult House

The garden, which is in the grounds of the town's well-known Moult House, is described as "secluded and tranquil ".

The land, which measures 100ft at its widest point, has a wooded area, a paved area, open space and an area nearby to park two cars.

It is unlikely the plot will ever be granted planning permission because it is in part of a protected coastline in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
