Woman takes driving lesson to her wedding

Most brides opt for a vintage car or horse and carriage to carry them to their wedding.

But learner driver Leann Taylor, 29, a mother-of-two from Cardiff, wanted her big day to be one to remember.

So she swapped her high heels for trainers and used her Saturday morning lesson to drive - in her wedding dress - to the city's register office.

Afterwards she admitted it was one of her better lessons, although her false nails were "a bit of a hindrance".

Mrs Taylor's driving instructor Richard Morgan admitted he had thought it a bit strange when she asked him about driving to the wedding.

"But she normally has her lessons on a Saturday morning so I didn't mind," he said.
