A woman whose husband and son locked themselves in the family car in an attempt to get away from her threw rocks through the car windows before taking off all her clothes and lying down on the hood of the vehicle, police said.
Sheryl Lenora Ross, 42, was arrested early Saturday.
Yavapai County sheriff's deputies said Ross and her husband got into a fight at their home shortly after midnight. The husband took the couple's 10-year-old son out to the car to get away from Ross.
Ross threw large rocks at the car, smashing the windows, then stripped down and took up position on the hood of the car, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies called to the house said they found Ross naked in a bedroom and took her into custody after a brief struggle.
Ross was arrested on charges of felony endangerment, criminal damage and disorderly conduct per domestic violence. Indecent exposure charges are pending.
