He was in the St. Clair County Jail on Wednesday night, unlikely to get out any time soon; all for stealing a giant stuffed teddy bear.
A neighbour chased after Floyd Wallace who fled with the bear on a bicycle.
“Apparently one of the limbs from the teddy bear got caught up in the spokes of his bike, which made him [Wallace] fall over,” said Belleville Police Captain Don Sax. “The good citizen was able to then take possession of the bear.”
