Rob the artist is parking mad

Painter and decorator Robert Gould has a fine hobby – collecting parking tickets.

In five months Rob, 48, deliberately picked up 33 penalties, one in every London borough, and now plans to display them framed in an art gallery.



He also totted up £2,740 in fines but has so far managed to dodge paying any of them by using sob stories.

Robert was inspired by realising how “pretty” parking tickets looked.

Unmarried Robert said he had to taunt some lax wardens into booking him. He said: “It’s not about getting one over traffic wardens. It’s art.”
