Cat found in pub's lager delivery

Pub staff were surprised to discover that a cat had been delivered along with their weekly lager supplies.

The black and white animal arrived at The Swan in Ironbridge, Shropshire, on board a Carlsberg lorry with the driver unaware of his extra passenger.



It has now been adopted by staff member Catherine Redgrave who has christened it Carlsberg.

"He is more than welcome to stay with me, but it would be nice to see him back with his real owners," she said.

It is not known where Carlsberg has come from, or how long the animal had been travelling in the back of the lorry.
