There's a new cop on patrol on the mean streets of King's Cross - and no criminals are safe from puss-ecution.
Thirteen-year-old tabby Tizer - or PC Tizer as he is known - is the latest recruit after being adopted by staff at the King's Cross British Transport Police station.
While officers pound the beat outside the station, PC Tizer is responsible for patrolling the inside to keep it free of rodents.
The cat has free access to all parts of the three-storey building - including the debriefing room, mess room and reception area - and shares an office with a senior officer.
Inspector Roy Sloane was the police officer responsible for enlisting PC Tizer into his new role as Chief Mouser at the police station.
Before landing his new role, PC Tizer was being cared for by charity Cats Protection, at its North London adoption centre, in Junction Road, Archway, after his owner died.
