Car flies into first-floor flat

This was the tragic scene after a car left a road and became embedded in a first-floor flat.



Witnesses said the car flew through the air after hitting a roundabout and a tree in Peterborough.

Driver John Gordon, 31, died but his nine-year-old son, who was in the car, had only minor injuries.



No-one in the flat was hurt.
