A man was forced to walk three miles to his home in his underwear after being assaulted and robbed of his clothes.
Police said the 39-year-old victim was picked up in what he thought was a taxi in Glasgow on Saturday. He asked to be driven to Carntyne in the city, but the silver Skoda Octavia instead drove him to the Forge Retail Park in the east end.
He was then threatened by the occupants of the car and robbed of his clothes before walking home to Carntyne.
Strathclyde Police said the vehicle had stopped in the Dennistoun area, where another man and woman had got in, before arriving at the Forge.
Officers said the victim had been badly shaken but was otherwise uninjured from his ordeal.
A police spokeswoman said it was an "uncommon" incident.
