A baker in Surrey has told of the "million-to-one" occurrence when he caught a glimpse of his stolen delivery van from the window of a fast moving train.
Stephen Cheeseman, 46, owner of the bakery on the Loseley Park estate, near Guildford, did a double take as his train passed through Horsley station.
Unmistakeably sitting in the car park was a blue work van which had been stolen from the estate 11 days earlier.
"I was just looking out the window and thought 'Oh, that's the same as my van'. Then I saw the writing on the side and realised it was mine. I didn't even know what station it was so I had to ask the ticket inspector."
Mr Cheeseman said staff at Horsley station were informed, and by the time he arrived in London they were on the phone confirming it was the stolen van.
